September at the Health Department
San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe Health Department | Alcohol & Substance Abuse Program
September is a full month — four gatherings at the Health Department, community lunches through the week, open gym every weekday, and two big community happenings on the road. Mark your calendars.

Featured Gatherings
September 3 — Talking Circle | 10:00 AM
A respectful community gathering where we come together in a supportive setting to share perspectives, listen with intention, and strengthen connection, understanding, and collective wellbeing. Come as you are; everyone is welcome.
September 10 — Lunch & Learn | 10:00 AM

A welcoming community session sharing clear, evidence-based information about cannabis, including its potential effects. No lectures and no judgment — just honest information you can use for yourself and your family. Lunch is part of the gathering.
September 24 — Cultural Art Expression | 10:00 AM
Indigenous Art Expression
A meaningful reflection of culture, identity, history, and community, conveyed through traditional and contemporary creative practices. Bring your hands and your story.
