§ 301 General Eligibility

A. Beneficiaries of the Elder and Disabled Assistance Program must be Enrolled Tribal Members of the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe.
B. Spouses of Beneficiaries of the Elder Assistance Options need not be Enrolled Tribal Members of the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe.

§ 302 Specific Eligibility Criteria

A. Applicants for Elder Assistance Options must be at least 55 years of age or older or the age otherwise required of any federal, state or other funding source where those specifically identified funds are utilized to carry out the objectives of the Elder and Disabled Assistance Program;

B. Applicants of Disabled Assistance Options must have proof of disability from a medical professional, or proof of current federal or state disability program assistance, including but not limited to Social Security Disability Benefits, or proof as otherwise required of any federal, state or other funding source where those specifically identified funds are utilized to carry out the objectives of the Elder and Disabled Assistance Program.

C. Any individual who knowingly and willfully misappropriates funds, property or information for personal or other use, not in the interest of the Tribe shall be subject to the penalties or disciplinary actions as authorized by applicable law and policies.
